On 8 December 2017, She Leads alumnae organized a 16 Days of Activism event in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region to raise awareness the importance of protection of women, prevention of women from being violated, and to reduce all forms of violence against women. Altogether 70 participants attended the event; the participants were She Leads alumnae, local Civil Society Organizations, and individuals.
