We Stand Together for More Women Leaders (Twe Let Nyi Nyi ) Campaign held in Natyaykan Village, Mandalay

She Leads Alumnae from Mandalay Region launched We Stand Together for Women Leaders Campaign at Natyaykan Village, Mandalay on December 25, 2017. 35 local people attended the campaign initiated by YCT and all participants endorsed the position paper promoting more women’s representation and leadership in politics and decision-making in Myanmar. 16 Days of Activism is a worldwide campaign which is held annually from 25th November to 10 December, aiming to protect women, prevent women from being violated, and to reduce violence against women. The workshop on workplace safety and rights for women was jointly conducted by Yaung Chi Thit and DIPD at Grand Amara Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw on November 18, 2017. There were over 100 attendees, including representatives from concerned government ministries, members of parliament and civil society organizations.
